EROTIC MASSAGE BILBAO

In this article we are going to share the five most important tourist destinations in Bilbao, the capital of the Basque Country. These five jewels from Bilbao are the Guggenheim Museum, Santiago Cathedral, Euskalduna Palace, Arriaga Theatre and the Ribera Market.  And an extra on erotic massages in Bilbao, read the post until the end.

Guggenheim Museum Bilbao

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao (in Basque, Guggenheim Bilbao Museoa) is a contemporary art museum designed by Canadian architect Frank O. Gehry. It is one of the museums that are part of the elitist Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation. The museum was inaugurated on October 18, 1997.

One of the most relevant features of the museum is the modern design of the building in which it is located, of curvilinear and twisted forms, covered with limestone, glass curtains and titanium plates. It has a total area of 24,000 m², of which 10,540 m² are reserved for exhibitions, distributed in 19 galleries. This innovative museum can be found on the banks of the Bilbao estuary, in an area called Abandoibarra, next to the La Salve bridge, which is surrounded by a hollow tower.

These are some of the outstanding authors who have exhibited at the Guggenheim: Eduardo Chillida, Pello Irazu, Richard Serra, Txomin Badiola, Koldobika Jauregi, Jesús Mari Lazkano, Jorge Oteiza, Darío Urzay, Willem de Kooning, Anselm Kiefer, Miquel Barceló, Cristina Iglesias, Juan Muñoz, Miquel Navarro, Pablo Palazuelo, Antonio Saura, Susana Solano, Antoni Tàpies, Manolo Valdés, Georg Baselitz, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, Francesco Clemente.

Cathedral of Santiago

The Cathedral of Santiago de Bilbao is consecrated to the Apostle Santiago, the official patron saint of the city. The Cathedral Basilica of Bilbao is a beautiful Gothic temple built between the last quarter of the 14th century and the beginning of the 15th century. It was declared Historical and Artistic Heritage of Spain in 1931 and is considered, by top experts, one of the best Gothic manifestations of the Basque Country.

One of the most outstanding aspects is its pleasant Gothic cloister, its southern façade, the Capilla Mayor (Main Chapel) and the Puerta del Ángel (Angel Gate), more commonly known as Puerta de los Peregrinos (Pilgrims’ Gate). It is a point included in the pilgrimage route of the Way of Saint James along the coast.

Euskalduna Palace

Inaugurated almost twenty years ago, on 19 February 1999, the congress and music palace of Euskalduna Jauregia is a very unique building, undoubtedly one of the flagships of the new Bilbao of the 21st century.
Conceived by the architects Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios, as a ship in permanent construction that emerges from the dock where the Euskalduna Shipyard was.

In the Euskalduna Palace a large number of activities of an economic-business, academic, political, institutional, social and cultural nature take place. The ABAO Opera Season is one of the most important and prestigious in Spain and Europe, and the Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa (BOS) also has its headquarters.

This emblematic building combines the spaces dedicated to meeting and show activities (Auditorium, congress and meeting rooms, meeting rooms, offices and a splendid Exhibition Hall) with the service areas, destined for warehouses, dressing rooms, dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms, etc.

Arriaga Theatre

The Arriaga Theatre is a neo-baroque building theatre from the late 19th century, designed by the architect Joaquín de Rucoba and dedicated to the Bilbao composer Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, who has come to be known by the nickname of “Spanish Mozart”. It was inaugurated on 31 May 1890.

It is one of the main theatres in Bilbao and also one of the most notable buildings in the city. It has suffered different indicators that have forced its reconstruction and reform, from the fire of 1914 to the floods of 1983.

Nowadays it is mainly used for theatre, musicals, dance, concerts, zarzuela… while the modern Euskalduna Palace houses performances of greater scale and technical complexity, opera and so on.

Ribera Market

The Ribera Market is located next to the Bilbao Estuary, it is a commercial reference for all of Bizkaia. One of its many merits is that in 1990 it was recognised as the most complete Municipal Supply Market by the Guinness, being the largest at that time in terms of the number of traders and stalls, as well as the largest covered market in all of Europe thanks to its 10,000 square metres.

In this market you will be able to find more than 60 merchants who manage to offer the client the best products at the best price: meat, fruit, fish, seafood, cheese, sausage, frozen food, mushrooms…
